STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER HERITAGE CENTRE

Founded in May 2000 we are committed to the promotion and preservation of the history of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Breed.

If you are a current and ex-owner, or simply have an interest in the breed then you will find membership of the group to be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.

Many of of you may not be aware for example that the 'Staffie' has a long and close association with the Black Country. Even though the Kennel Club of Great Britain did not even formally recognise the breed in its own right until as late as 1935!

Whether you are interested specifically in the Bull Terrier breed or with the rich and varied history of the Black Country, the Exhibition Group has something for everyone!

We are actively involved in promoting and exhibiting around the country. We are also working with Sandwell's Local Education Authority to develop awareness of this important aspect of our local culture and heritage amongst children and young people.
